This poop scooper comes with everything you need to assemble it, including two wrenches for the bolts. I really appreciate that. It has a handle section, two middle sections, and a bottom section to attach it to the scoop. The length (which is pretty long with all sections) can be adjusted by unscrewing and screwing in the lengths that you desire. The angle of the scoop can be adjusted into three different positions. The sharpest angle is ideal for raking. There is an optional (not included) single piece handle shaft to mount to the scoop if more support and firmness is desired. I find the firmness of the handle to be just fine but the screw together shaft sections can loosen up with long periods of use. The scoop portion is well made, and I find the slots to be a really nice size to let the sand or dirt fall through but keep larger items (such as bird poop and gravel) in the scoop. The size of the scoop is just right for cleaning up after birds and it would be great for sifting through sand for metal detecting as well, but it is too small for use with full-sized horses. It is currently priced right for what it is. I only have one bird to clean up after, and this is a bit of overkill for that, but it still makes the job easier. If you have the need, this is a great tool for the job!

First off, when I got this chicken scooper I was a little hesitant. The wall thickness of the metal handle, as shown compared to a penny, was extremely thin. I've also had little good luck with screw together handles similar to this, but I put aside my biases. Once I got the handle together I was hearing a small rattling which was not comforting, however I quickly found that the handle itself was solid. Confused, I looked it over only to find that the plastic plug used to ensure one doesn't over torque the handle and collapse it was actually the culprit. My expectations started to rise from there and once it's assembled... Honestly I wouldn't use it to hit something, but for scooping and sifting material? This should be more than adequate! Personally I chose it for assisting my mother in collecting medium sized rocks for her tumbler, as well as old spent brass from the range. The gaps are small enough that .22s are going to be the only hang-up with that. The adjustability of the head, as well as the length of the handle make it more than effective for a wide range of uses! Though admittedly you'd need a pretty good sized cat box to use it on that! Heh.

I am extremely pleased with this chicken poop scooper. I use it daily in my chicken coop, and it has honestly made my mornings so much easier. The build is very strong and steady, and you can immediately tell it’s made with quality in mind. Nothing about it feels flimsy or cheap. The sifting design works really well and saves time because it separates what needs to be removed without wasting bedding. The adjustable handle is a huge plus, especially for comfort and reach, and the rubber grip feels secure in your hands while working. I don’t have to bend as much, which makes cleanup quicker and far less tiring. I’m very happy with how sturdy and well-made this tool is. It handles regular use without any issues and holds up beautifully. If you clean a chicken coop regularly and want something reliable that truly makes the job easier, this is a great tool to have. I have zero complaints and would absolutely recommend it.
